A visual description of other objects that a certain business capability is related to. It usually contains a sample of surrounding objects and relations for supporting a specific analysis.
Purpose
Capability context map is used to analyze relations to other objects. It is also used for creating relations that do not exist in other models (in order to avoid confusion in integration models).
Way of Working
- Put a business capability in the center of the model.
- Use the EA-tool's function to access the relations and objects as desired.
