A visual description of how activities are clustered into process steps within a business. The description is simplified and contains only the activity objects in hierarchy, but can also be arranged in a flow.
Purpose
The process activity model gives a overview over what activities that are part of a process, sorted in the process steps.
Way of Working
- Place the process steps as a background
- Place the activities within respective process step, preferably according to a logical sequence from left to right.
- A process can also be placed as a background to the process steps.
(A prerequisite is that the processes have been identified beforehand. This is an extensive job that does not fit into this box.)
