A visual description of the objects that a certain process step is related to. It normally contains a selection of surrounding objects and relations in order to support a certain analysis.
Purpose
The process context model is used to analyze a process’ relations to other objects. It is also used to create the relations that do not fit in other models (in order to avoid messy flow models).
Way of Working
- Place the process step in the middle of the model.
- Use the EA tool’s function to add the related objects of interest (or add them manually)
