Since the last release, we have worked hard to further develop the configuration of Prime Arch. Prime Arch has, among other things, been developed through two revised dimensions: Control and Implementation.
The update is free for those who have previously purchased the value package that contains the configuration. It is distributed as a new MDG that is installed over the old version (replace existing file).
News included in 5.1:
- Reworked dimension: Steering
- Reworked dimension: Implementation
- Tagged Values for Application (A21)
- Completed QuickLinks
A description of the news follows below.
Restructure: Governance
In the spring, we discovered a need to carry out a reworking of the governance dimension. The reason was a finding that several meta-objects were at the wrong level due to the fact that these were inherited from previous frameworks and therefore lacked explanation. Many relationships were also judged to be questionable.
Revision has taken place as far as possible based on the Business Motivation Model (BMM) from OMG and has resulted in meta objects being added, moved or removed.
Restructure: Implementation
The implementation dimension has also undergone reworking. This has been a relatively untouched dimension until now and the need for further development has arisen.
The goal has been to sync the dimension to known standards such as Atlassian and SAFe.
Tagged Values for Application (A21)
In this release, we present a number of new tagged values for the meta-object Application (A21). These have been created through inquiries from customers and evaluated internally. For evaluation, we have used the self-classification tool Class as a reference.
