A geographical grouping of physical facilities. In a production area, there is usually multiple physical facilities above (buildings) or under the ground (which together create a whole).

• Kiirunavaara (where the world's biggest body of Iron Ore is processed in many different plants)
• Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant (which has three reactors, physical facilities)
