Description 

Also known colloquially as systems. According to Archimate, an application component is defined as a modular, developable and replaceable part of a software system that contains its function and data and exposes these through a group of interfaces.

  • CRM system
  • Booking system
  • Case management system (usually with names given by the supplier, eg Oracle CRM).
