A logical group of process groups which creates structure and provides overview in the process map.

Description 

The grouping of process groups and process flows in process areas aims to create order where a process group / process flow is only included in one process area.

Processes that create value for the end customer are called core processes and these areas are usually named in connection with the type of business.


Example

Examples of process areas are

  • Management Processes
  • Support Processes
  • Core Processes
  • Development Processes
  • Sales and Delivery Processes.
