Description
The indictor shows how something is measured, meaning in which entity. And can also contain a value/measuring rate if the indicator is the result of a measurement or definition of a goal.
The indicator is a specific attribute showing i.e. the result of an operation.
The goals contain indicators in defined points in time.
If the measurement value is matched with expectations (i.e. green level), no actions is taken. The goal will be reached.
If the measurement value is a little lower than expected (i.e. yellow level), something needs to be improved for the goal to be reached. Increasing the pace, doing it a little better or saving some costs in order to catch up.
If the measurement value is far from what is expected (i.e. red level), something needs to be changed for the goal to be achieved. It is not enough to improve, something must be changed otherwise it is not possible to catch up.
