An information model illustrates an image of the entity groups which a given frame object takes information entities from. The frame object could be both an information group or an information object.
Purpose
The information model is used to navigate to underlying information entity models. It is also used to create an overview of which entity groups are included in an information group or in an information object.
Way of working
- Lay out information group or information object as a background.
- Place the entity groups within the information group or information object.
A prerequisite is that the entity groups have already been identified. This is a very extensive work which is dealt with separately.
